Raja Harpal Singh Government College, Harpalpur is geographically located in the most backward region of Bundelkhand region. This area is the border area of both the states of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Most of the students who are registered from this area are socially and economically backward. The students belong to rural environment, which are mostly related to farming or laborer family. 

They are unable to bear the burden of their educational expenses. Raja Harpal Singh Government College, Harpalpur provides financial assistance to such students. The college strengthens the students financially with the schemes running at the state government, central government and college level.   1. Post Matric Scholarship (SC):- Post Matric Scholarship is conducted by Tribal Welfare Department. This scholarship is given to the Scheduled Caste students. The minimum educational qualification to get this scholarship is 10+2.
  2. Post Matric Scholarship (OBC):- Post Matric Scholarship is conducted by Tribal Welfare Department. This scholarship is given to the students of other backward classes, the minimum educational qualification to get this scholarship is 10+2.
  3. Post Matric Scholarship (Minorities) :- Post Matric Scholarship is run by Tribal Welfare Department, this scholarship is given to minority students. The minimum educational qualification to get this scholarship is 10+2.
  4. MukhyaMantri  SanwalYojana: – This scholarship is run by the Ministry of Labor, Government of Madhya Pradesh. In this scholarship, students belonging to the families of economically weaker workers are included.
  5. Pratibha Kiran Scheme:- This scholarship scheme is given by the Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department.
  6. Gawn Ki Beti:- This scholarship is given as an incentive to the girl students of rural areas to join higher education. This scholarship is given by the Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department. The minimum educational qualification to get this scholarship is 10+2.
  7. VikramadityaYojna:- This scholarship scheme is given to the students of general caste category.
  8. Poor Student Welfare Fund:- Under this scheme, the fee of the student is partially or fully waived off. The minimum educational qualification for this is 10+2.
  9. Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Shiksha Protsahan Yojana:- This Scheme  is run by the Higher Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The minimum educational qualification to get this scholarship is 10+2.
  10. Viklang ( Divyang ) Scholarship:-   This scholarship is given to physically handicapped students.
  11. Meghavi Chhatra Yojna:- This scheme is given by the Higher Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. This scholarship is given to the students who have secured 75% marks in 10+2 examination. In this scholarship, the entire fee of the students is returned.
