Raja Harpal Singh Government College, Harpalpur, established in 1989, is affiliated to Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundelkhand University, recognized under Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act.

The college is surrounded by residual hills of Vindhyachal Mountain. It is spread over 15 acres of plot with lush green landscape which makes the ambiance of the college mesmerizing with natural glimpses. In which mini forest (rich in biodiversity) and herbal garden have been developed by the college. The built-in area consists of two-story buildings with well-equipped ventilated classrooms and administrative offices. The library present in the institute provides a calm and contemplative environment for the students as well as the faculty members, at the same time it inculcates good reading habits in the students and transmits multiple knowledge and reference sources to the students and faculty members. It updates the students and faculty members in the age of contemporary information technology.

Facilities like reading room facility, selected information service facility and current awareness service etc. are made available in the college library.For the physical and mental development of the students, there is a sports cell in the institute, in which the facilities of indoor and outdoor sports are available. The Code of Professional Ethics guides all stakeholders of the College on the principles of integrity, accountability, inclusivity, commitment and sustainability. All stakeholders work within institutional policies and practices to fulfill the vision and mission of the College. For the students of the science faculty of the college, there are laboratories with basic facilities, which increase the practical knowledge of the students.

The college is committed to make the students aware of their social responsibility through outreach programs organized by NSS, NCC etc. to increase the social awareness and sensitivity of the students towards the upliftment of the underprivileged sections of the society. The college is providing quality education as a means of empowering the students so that they can recognize and fulfill their roles and responsibilities as equal contributors to nation building and making India a leader on the global map.
